Solved: Fallout3, Freezing and QuadCores

I got my brand new Fallout 3 GOTY from Amazon Uk in just 4 days, regular delivery.
Happiness.
I have installed it on my Rig, CPU AMD 955 BE, with Windows 7 64 bit. After few minutes of game I have started to experience a lot of crashes and freezing. Googling I found that it’s a problem of the game on handling Quad Cores Cup, actually I don’t know if this issue happens on Intel’s cpu too.
This is the solution to fix this problem, at least in my case:
1) Install the game. A note, the installation procedure doesn’t create links to the desktop and Start->AllPrograms. I have to create them by yourself.
2) Goto: C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\My Games\Fallout3
3) Edit the file: FALLOUT.INI
3.1) Look for the line: bUseThreadedAI=0 and modify it with bUseThreadedAI=1
3.2) Add a line just below the previous one: iNumHWThreads=2

Reading a lot of posts this seems not to be the ultimate solution, I mean it’s not guaranteed that it works 100%.

Have fun!
